We are a family owned and operated business. My family has been in construction for over 100 years.
My Great- Grand father, Lawrence F. Villermin Sr., was an electrician
and contractor who built the first electrical power plant in New
Iberia on Jane Street, served as City Commissioner, later as building
and electrical inspector for city of New Iberia.
My Grand father, Lawrence F. Villermin Jr. was also in construction
and an electrical contractor. He and his brother built and wired
numerous homes in New Iberia and developed the " Villermin Subdivision"
which is now known as Plantation Drive.
My father James Villermin Sr. worked with his father as an electrical
contractor and eventally opened his owned electrical company.
Now 100 + years and 4 generations later we are still serviceing New Iberia and surrounding areas. Guess you could say
it's " in our blood " .
